929: Learning TaNaKh Together
929 will meet ONLINE for the time being. More info soon!
Every other Saturday 8:30-9:30am ONLINE
Free of charge

Join us on a journey of discovery as we read the Hebrew Bible cover to cover and meet every other week to discuss and debate various aspects of the text.

929 is an international project where people around the world read the entire Hebrew Bible, one chapter a day.

How do I join?
Anyone in our community is welcome to sign up to be on the 929 email group using the form on the right. After that just drop in when it works with your schedule. You do not need to commit to every session. We meet every other Saturday, please check  templebnaibrith.org/calendar. If you think you might like to follow along with us but not join the Saturday sessions that is okay too. Email rabbieliana@gmail.com for a group invite.

What should I bring?
Please bring your own copy of the Tanakh. We will be using the Koren Tanakh also called the Koren Jerusalem Bible Hebrew and English edition. It comes in several sizes and can be purchased on Amazon. If you prefer to shop local Porter Square Books are able to order it for you.

If you prefer to use your own different edition of the Tanakh that is okay, as long as you keep in mind that you will not have exactly the same text as the rest of the group.
