PARKING
The City of Somerville has residential parking restrictions that affect
all streets in the city including those around TBB. The City of
Somerville works with us throughout the year to help keep resident
parking restrictions from being an obstacle to synagogue worship and
program attendance. Please read the following information carefully.
- Residents of Somerville need a valid parking sticker in order to park on all Somerville streets.
- Non-residents may park without a permit for two hours on Broadway and Medford Streets between the hours of 8am and 11pm. There are no parking restrictions on any streets in Somerville on Sundays.
- All other neighborhood streets, including Central Street will require a resident sticker or "visitor" permit.
- The synagogue provides one day passes for each Shabbat and for all special events and programs. You will need to come into the temple to pick one up. These passes will allow you to park on neighborhood streets near the synagogue for the day. We keep passes in a box in the front lobby.
- For some holidays in the past the City of Somerville has waived parking restrictions on the streets around the Temple, but unless you know this is true, please use our parking passes.
