Community Quilt
Back in the Fall of 2020 we asked our members to imagine a vibrant quilt welcoming everyone who enters TBB- one that expresses the diverse, creative, and inclusive spirit of our community. As part of the Reimagining TBB effort, we invited our community members to reflect on a moment, a story, an image - past, present, or future - that expresses a way that TBB matters, then create a quilt square representing it. And they did! |
TBB members unleashed their creativity to create thirty-six (double chai) quilt squares, and now we have two quilt panels that express those reflections. On Friday, April 23, 2021, the assembled quilts were presented to the community during a special Shabbat Service.
